Full Containment LNG Storage Tank for Peak Shaver located in Northeast United States

Our company performed the steel work including the engineering, supply and fabrication of the inner stainless-steel tank and outer carbon steel dome roof. Steel work included welding of the outer 9% nickel liner and secondary bottom. Scope of supply also included tank instrumentation pressure and vacuum relief valves, hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, and painting. LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) is being stored at approximately -260o F. The tank was mechanically complete on 16 July 2023, and successfully commissioned 18 December 2023.
