Steel tank with an external urethane coating

ACT-100-U® features a strong inner steel tank for structural integrity, and a thick urethane outer coating for long‐lasting corrosion protection. The ACT‐100‐U® provides a barrier from corrosion comparable to a fiberglass reinforced plastic coated (composite) steel tank.

ACT-100-U® is available from an extensive group of Steel Tank Institute fabricators who participate in the STI Quality Control Program. Under the program, independent quality control inspectors make unannounced visits to STI members, ensuring fabrication to the highest possible standards.
