The STI/SPFA Weld of the Year Awards recognize exemplary work of the talented craftspeople throughout the steel fabrication industry.
Submissions are open to all STI/SPFA members for welds completed in the previous calendar year (January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024).
Entries can be submitted into one of four categories:
One winner will be selected for each category. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges on criteria including:
Submissions are due by July 1. Winners will be announced and recognized during the STI/SPFA Fall Meeting.
Describe your product/project and any unusual or special features in relation to the award criteria.
Do not include your company name.
STI/SPFA reserves the right to edit the award application content.
Submit high resolution photos of your product. Photos must not include the company name or logo. Collages will not be accepted.
At least one photo must be of the overall project.
At least one photo must be a close-up photo of the weld.
Up to three additional photos can be submitted for review.
By submitting this entry form, the member company agrees that images submitted become the property of STI/SPFA and may be used for association promotional activities.
STI/SPFA reserves the right to edit photos and entry form content.
Awards will be presented during the STI/SPFA Fall Meeting. A member company representative must be present to be eligible to win.
