What is SWPMTAC?
The Steel Water Pipe Manufacturers Technical Advisory Committee (SWPMTAC) provides a technical forum for work related to AWWA steel pipe and stainless steel pipe standards, the AWWA M11 manual, and related issues affecting the steel water pipe industry.
SWPMTAC brings together industry professionals to discuss standards activity, review technical questions, and coordinate work through technical groups and task groups. Its work helps keep key steel pipe, stainless steel pipe, coatings, and related standards current and relevant for manufacturers, engineers, owners, and specifiers.
The committee’s work is connected to more than 30 AWWA Steel Pipe and Stainless Steel Pipe standards, as well as the AWWA M11 manual.
