Now we’re here in the yard where the pipe will be stored until it is ready to be shipped to a project.
In the yard, after the pipe is coated, the stulls will be installed inside the pipe to help maintain roundness during shipping and handling.
Finally, end caps will be installed to help maintain a humid environment for the cement mortar lining. Now the yard serves as a resting place for the pipe until it is ready to be loaded on a truck for delivery.
All in all, the process from steel coil to coated steel pipe, is a labor of precision, integrity and strength.
