Rachel Musolino joined WTW in 2017 as an ergonomics and lean consultant. Rachel provides solutions to clients focused on improving productivity, maximizing efficiency and reducing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Prior to becoming a member of the Workforce Vitality Practice, she was a Senior Industrial Engineer at Michelin NA where she worked in the domains of performance and progress. She led projects to reduce machine changeover time and improve throughput, incorporating and training teams on ergonomics and lean principles, strengthening standards to improve productivity.
Rachel is a critical thinker who has worked with large, complex, multi-national organizations to help maximize their capabilities and minimize waste. She has over twelve years of experience in a wide array of industries including Manufacturing, Transportation, Retail, Childcare, Financial Institutions and Shipping. An expert in industrial engineering and systems thinking, Rachel provides an analytic framework to programs to create a value stream while identifying lag engines to elevate the process. She is responsible for providing value added consultative services, and works towards providing solutions to fit organizational goals, ensuring transformative service and deliverables.
Rachel earned a master’s degree in industrial and systems engineering, summa cum laude, along with a graduate certificate in Occupational Safety and Ergonomics from Auburn University. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Florida State University. She’s received Six Sigma Green Belt certification and is a Certified Professional Ergonomist (Certificate No. 1867).
