Barry Berquist has 30 years of experience in the pressure vessel manufacturing industry.

Barry cut his teeth as an engineer for The Dannon Company in Minster, Ohio, but quickly moved to the glamorous world of pressure vessel construction. Hired in as the Quality Manager for Silvan Industries, Barry got his first exposure to ASME and other pressure vessel codes. He moved up the ranks eventually to President and led the effort to sell Silvan to Samuel, Son and Co in 2006. Quickly, Barry was promoted to President of their pressure vessel group and was ultimately in charge of three manufacturing locations with over 800 employees.

In 2017, he made the move to pressure vessel certifications as a Director for Bureau Veritas Inspection & Insurance Company. In 2020 he took over as President of that operation.

Barry holds an engineering degree from Michigan State University. He and his wife Amy still live in Michigan. But don’t let that fool you, he is a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan.
