On separate occasions, Ohio Congressman Warren Davidson and Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague visited Brighton Tru-Edge’s headquarters in Cincinnati, touring the company’s 57,500-square-foot main building, 7,000-square-foot welding facility, and 7,500-square-foot nozzle-hole cutting facility. The visits highlighted Brighton Tru-Edge’s leadership in shaping the future of manufacturing with automated nozzle-hole cutting and other advances.

During the tour, Congressman Davidson and Treasurer Sprague each met with members of the Brighton Tru-Edge team and received in-depth looks at the company’s advanced processes for cold-forming tank and vessel heads. They got to see first-hand Brighton Tru-Edge’s revolutionary process for automated nozzle-hole cutting with its proprietary Tru-Cut 3D machine. This technology leverages 3D scanning and automatic adjustment, high-definition plasma cutting, and automated etching and beveling to save manual labor, eliminate costly mistakes, and increase project profitability for its customers. In addition, it eliminates certain types of physical strain and safety risks for skilled laborers and reduces the need to train a new generation on how to cut nozzle holes by hand.
During the visit, the Brighton Tru-Edge team spoke with Congressman Davidson about tariffs and workforce development within the trades. The conversation with Treasurer Sprague focused on business operations, market conditions, and the Buckeye Business Advantage program.
The visits highlighted the need for innovations that address the deficit in the skilled trades and Ohio’s position as a leader in driving positive change in manufacturing and workforce development.
“We were grateful for the opportunity to engage with Congressman Davidson and Treasurer Sprague on the evolving challenges and opportunities within the manufacturing sector,” said Adam Laib, Executive Vice President, Brighton Tru-Edge. “At Brighton Tru-Edge, we believe that innovation and workforce development are essential drivers of long-term industry growth. Programs like the Buckeye Business Advantage play a critical role in enabling companies like ours to invest in advanced technologies and strengthen our operational capabilities.”
