Plant No. 1/FM 972 Pump Station

The project consisted of disassembling, relocating, and raising the overall height of an existing 25 year old, 500,000 gallon multi-column elevated tank.

The tank was cut into pieces, moved six miles down the road in 21′-0″ wide sections to its new location and erected again. New foundations were installed at the new site, and the new supporting tower extension was erected to raise the height by 56′-0″ adding 24.25PSI of water pressure for the city.

The relocated tank and tower was blasted and repainted.
