Athol Water System Improvement

The project consisted of raising an existing 94′-0″ tall, 250,000 gallon multi-column, elevated water storage tank by 53′-1 7/16″. A new first bay of tower was installed to support the existing structure. The tank was temporarily hoisted by utilizing two cranes simultaneously. The 550 and 500 ton cranes supported and raised the tank while a third crane was utilized to install the leg and riser extensions to provide the city of Athol, ID an additional 24.25PSI of water pressure.
