Hannah Beezie Named Technical Services Engineer

Hannah Beezie, has been named Technical Services Engineer for the Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabrication Association (STI/SPFA).

“We are delighted to have Hannah join our team,” said Tim O’Toole, Executive Vice President, STI/SPFA. “Her knowledge of mechanical engineering will help strengthen the technical support we provide our members across the U.S.”

In her new role, Hannah will support STI/SPFA’s technical resources, and education and certification programs. She also will oversee standards development, research projects, and member technical services related to steel storage tanks and other steel plate fabricated products.

Before joining STI/SPFA, Hannah was a research assistant with Charger Advanced Power and Propulsion Lab. In this role, Hannah researched the components of fusor construction, and combined component integration and maintenance of new fusors with existing vacuum chambers. She also oversaw workplace safety improvement.

Hannah was a technician was with the Homewood School District where she was responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of school district technical equipment including digital display boards as well as database integration.

A May 2026 graduate of The University of Alabama, Huntsville, Hannah holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
