The Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA) announced its 2026 Patrick Kennedy Leadership Award recipient, recognizing individuals for outstanding leadership and contributions to the steel fabrication industry.

“We are pleased to recognize this year’s award recipient for their leadership and contributions,” said Tim O’Toole, STI/SPFA. “Their achievements reflect the expertise and dedication of the people and companies that make our industry strong.”

Garrick Mullen, Systems & Scheduling Manager, Watco Tanks, Inc., Floresville, Texas, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Patrick Kennedy Leadership Award. The award recognizes an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership within STI/SPFA and the broader steel fabrication industry.

“Garrick represents the kind of leadership this award was created to recognize,” said Daniel Yoder, Kennedy Tank and Manufacturing, Inc., Indianapolis and Chair of STI/SPFA’s Emerging Leaders Committee. “His willingness to take on challenging issues, contribute his expertise, and advocate for the industry reflects the dedication and collaborative spirit that strengthen both STI/SPFA and the steel fabrication industry.”
