Dan Yoder, Vice President of Operations and Purchasing for Kennedy Tank and Manufacturing Co., Inc., was presented the Patrick Kennedy Leadership Award during the closing dinner of the STI/SPFA Fall Meeting on September 18, 2024. The award honors the late Pat Kennedy’s devotion to the industry and exemplary leadership both throughout the industry and within STI/SPFA.
Dan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Indiana – South Bend. His career began at Fastenal but his path soon led him to Kennedy Tank where he quickly ascended through multiple roles. He started as Scheduling Coordinator, moved to Purchasing and Scheduling Manager, and as of last Winter serves as the Vice President of Operations and Purchasing.
Dan has shown outstanding leadership in the STI/SPFA Emerging Leaders Committee, driving initiatives from conception to execution. He has contributed innovative ideas like the Weld of the Year Award, roundtable discussions, and the Industry Leader Spotlights. He serves as a mentor and collaborator within the industry, a testament to his character and passion for the field.
