The City of Pearsall, TX needed a new roof for one of its 500,000-gallon ground storage tanks due to severe corrosion of the roof and beam structure. After being consulted a new self-supporting dome roof was designed and engineered for the tank to reduce corrosion in the vapor space in the tank moving forward. The new roof was fabricated, delivered, constructed, and coated to ensure corrosion protection for the potable water being stored by the city.
– Remove and replace the entire tank roof.
– Paint the entire interior and exterior roof of the tank.
– Re-grout the base of the tank.
– Install galvanized steel safety climb.
