STI/SPFA representatives present Representative Rick Crawford of the 1st District of Arkansas with the Champion of Steel Award during the Legislative Fly-In on June 10, 2026.
STI/SPFA presented the first Champion of Steel Awards to Representative Rick Crawford (R-AK) and Representative Frank Mrvan (D-IN) during the STI/SPFA Legislative Fly-In June 10th in Washington, D.C.
STI/SPFA recognized the Representatives for their work on the Congressional Steel Caucus. Crawford serves the 1st District of Arkansas and is Chairman of the Congressional Steel Caucus. Mrvan serves the 1st District of Indiana and serves as Vice Chairman of the Congressional Steel Caucus.
The Congressional Steel Caucus is a bipartisan caucus of the United States Congress whose members represent regions with steel manufacturers or care about the health of the American steel industry. The Caucus introduces legislation supporting the domestic steel community, and routinely meets with Administration officials andinternational organization representatives to communicate the interests of the American industry and its steelworkers.
