This month, we highlight Michael Usterbowski, North America Key Account Manager for Infrastructure at Sherwin-Williams.
STI/SPFA: Tell us about your company and your role in the organization.
Michael Usterbowski: Sherwin-Williams is an outstanding company that helps protect infrastructure assets from corrosion. My role is convey this message within the industry amongst our members.
STI/SPFA: How did you first become involved with STI/SPFA?
Usterbowski: Sherwin-Williams has been a longtime supporter of STI/SPFA. Their members along with Tony Ippoliti and Greg O’Leary got me involved.
STI/SPFA: Why did you want to serve on the STI/SPFA Board of Directors?
Usterbowski: My goal in serving on the STI/SPFA Board of Directors is to support its membership, share my experience, and help advance the industry.
STI/SPFA: What do you get out of serving on the board?
Usterbowski: I like the opportunity to support our members and contribute to their mission.
STI/SPFA: What do you see as one of the biggest opportunities for STI/SPFA members?
Usterbowski: The opportunity to help and promote the next generation.
STI/SPFA: What would you say to a member who is considering getting more involved?
Usterbowski: I’d encourage them to get involved – it’s a great opportunity to support your peers and contribute to the future if the organization and the industry.
