This report attempts to provide information on the vast majority of substantial changes approved or being considered as the 2027 Edition publication deadline approaches. This also includes a couple of last minute considerations put forward by members of this group. It is my hope these will be included in the next publication.

During our next meeting, I will cover a few of the more recently approved changes. However, I also want to introduce some of the bigger topics that are being discussed for the 2029 edition. It is not too early to engage with Section VIII users and manufacturers so that your input can be heard as the BPV VIII Committee assesses the strategic direction. I look forward to a great discussion in September and hearing from you in the coming months.
