James Jones and Jerry Schollmeyer were inducted into the STI/SPFA Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 20, 2024, during the STI/SPFA Annual Meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz.

James Jones
James Jones began his career at Modern Welding Company, Inc. in 1969. He has been a dedicated member of various associations within the steel fabrication industry for more than 55 years.
His dedication to the industry and STI/SPFA promoted and fostered innovation within the industry and ensured that the steel tanks and pressure vessels have a future in this ever-changing global economy.
Jimmy has participated on the STI/SPFA Board of Directors and STI/SPFA Finance Committee, and has been involved in various association committees throughout his career.
His volunteer efforts include STICO Mutual, Kentucky Wesleyan College, Junior Achievement, and many more.

Jerry Schollmeyer
Jerry Schollmeyer began his career with Morrison Bros. Co. in 1983 and has been leading the Morrison sales team since 1989.
An ardent supporter of STI/SPFA, Jerry has served STI/SPFA in many capacities, including on the Board of Directors, Member Services Committee, and as Affiliate Member Chair.
The founder of the STI/SPFA Water Volleyball Tournament, Jerry is known for his phrase, “Everybody is a winner in water volleyball.”
As an active participant in the STI/SPFA Shop Fabricated Technical Committee, Jerry served on the UL STP for UL 142 and UL 2085 storage tanks.
Jerry is a true ambassador for the steel tank industry.
