The presentation will review and compare the STI SP001 and the API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) inspection methods. Information will be presented about their histories, their differences and when is each applicable.
The presentation will consider situations when one standard might have benefits over the other and will also explain what it takes to become a certified inspector for each process and maintain that certification.
