South Hartford Conveyance & Storage Tunnel #3

Fabricated steel 84″ Air Duct, 48″ suction header, & 24″ dia. 180 foot risers & Tunnel is all under the American Iron & Steel Act (AIS) & the project is according to the Clean Water Project (CWP) for Pollution control of storm water.

This steel project consisted of fabricated & welded steel water pipe with eight 111″ x 36″ rectangular to cylindrical outlets welded on the two 84″ headers, 48″ fabricated tangential outlets, reinforced cross, special designed pie shaped Flow Splitter vanes, numerous reducers, mitered elbows, bell & spigot joints, AWWA C207 high pressure flanges, pipe stand supports, & support tabs. All steel provided in strict compliance with AIS requirements & all AWWA guidelines.
