This chemical storage tank project scope included seven (07) shop built welded steel tanks for a new water purification facility in San Diego. All tanks were shop built, coated with a chemical- resistant heat cured coating prior to being shipped to and installed at the facility.
Two tanks were 9′ DIA x 24′ H with dished head roofs meant to store caustic soda. Three (03) tanks were 14′ DIA x 15’2″H with dished head roofs to hold sulfuric acid. The final two (02) tanks were smaller 5′ DIA x 6′ H Sulfuric Acid Day Tanks with dished head roofs.
