38 FT Sphere Repair (Turn-Around Tank)

Our company performed repairs on a pressure vessel built in the 1940’s under the owner’s repair and maintenance program while simultaneously following our company’s quality program to meet the owner’s needs. Work included replacement of approximately 35% of the spherically dished plate segments on the vessel along with numerous other minor repairs due to hydrogen blistering. Work was done during customer turn-around under a very tight timeline. This particular vessel is essential to operate the customers facility, so work was performed using 2 shifts 7 days per week in order to meet the deadline for plant start-up.
