Avon Lake Water Filtration Plant Improvements
Avon Lake Water Filtration Plant Improvements
Avon Lake, Ohio, United States
This steel pipe & headers were used to convey filter water improvements which was designed to test pilot one of the first filtration technologies in the USA, utilizing an electric grid to disinfect water for potable water distribution, being safer & a less costly alternative than chlorine.
Brookings Water Treatment Plant
Brookings Water Treatment Plant
Brookings, SD, United States
This project brought forth a new water treatment plant to replace an existing water treatment plant that was not only too small for its growing community but also had exceeded its useful life. The new water treatment plant can now treat 6 MGD of ground water compared to approximately 2.5 MGD by the old water treatment plant which opens the door for greater expansion into the rural and urban areas that were previously unreachable and now allows for streamlining water service and fire-protection coverage in the growth zones of the new water treatment plant.
