The press-brake roof provides increased stiffness, improved load distribution, and long-term durability with reduced maintenance. The tank is part of a new city water plant and includes standard municipal appurtenances, a spiral staircase, and a full perimeter roof handrail for safe access. Construction is complete, and the tank will be placed into service upon completion of the remaining plant facilities.

Shop blasting and priming were completed prior to delivery, reducing field labor, lowering costs, and shortening the construction schedule while maintaining coating quality.

This project involved construction of a field-erected welded steel tank for backwash storage at a municipal iron and manganese removal facility. Designed to AWWA D100-11, the tank was erected at grade with an internal press-brake formed knuckle roof providing increased stiffness, efficient load transfer, and long-term durability. Standard appurtenances, safety features, and an internal mixing system were included. Quality control and inspection ensured compliance with AWWA requirements and delivered a reliable, low-maintenance storage asset.
