7760 City Wide Water Systems Improvement Project

This project includes the construction of an 82-foot diameter by 30-foot tall, 1.0-MG welded steel water storage tank with an internal press-brake formed knuckle roof. The press-brake roof system provides a stiff, well-defined knuckle geometry that improves roof strength and load distribution while allowing efficient field erection and long-term durability and lower maintenance costs.

The tank is part of a new city water plant and was constructed with standard appurtenances appropriate for municipal service. A spiral staircase and full perimeter roof handrail were incorporated to improve safe access and maintenance. The tank construction is complete and will be placed into service upon completion of the remaining plant facilities.
