EV Battery Chemical Plant Tank Farm
EV Battery Chemical Plant Tank Farm
Kokomo, IN, United States
The Jaewon Tank Farm in Kokomo, IN, consisted of (5) API-650 storage tanks for the Electric Vehicle Battery Chemical Industry. These tanks were built to the highest Safety and Quality standards while working closely with the South Korean-based customer and owner. The field erected portion of the project consisted of 522,000 gallons of storage and utilized 143 tons of steel.
Waste Water Treatment Upgrade
Waste Water Treatment Upgrade
Portage, IN, United States
A long-time customer contacted the fabricator to enhance their wastewater treatment plant. We built (3) 30,000-gallon 2205 duplex wastewater treatment tanks and (1) 13,000-gallon 2205 duplex wastewater treatment tanks.
Each tank had a built-in tank heater designed per ASME and TEMA standards. This was one of the largest upgrades in the steel mill’s history.
Saturate LPG Treater Expansion
Saturate LPG Treater Expansion
Oregon, OH, United States
A first-time customer, a refinery in Ohio, reached out to the fabricator to upgrade their LPG facility. We built this vessel, which was 72″ ID X 30′-0″ tangent length with a 2.25″ thick intermediate head located just below the top manway on a carbon steel skirt.
This vessel had three intermediate platforms and over (20) nozzles and was fabricated in a ten-week time window.
Carbon Bed Adsorber Replacement
Carbon Bed Adsorber Replacement
Mount Vernon, IN, United States
These two vessels, which are mirror images of each other, were a major part of a project that included replacing two existing Carbon Bed Absorber vessels that were originally built in 1978.
The Carbon Bed Adsorbers were designed and stamped to ASME Code for 65 psig & FV at 350°F and were 9′-0″ IDX 25′-0″ tangent length made of 2205 duplex material. The existing vessel’s design was modified to meet current Code requirements. Before being built, the saddle design was analyzed via FEA to ensure the ship could be supported by the limited footprint provided by the support piers.

Indoor Vertical Tank Project
Indoor vertical tank project
Taber, AB, Canada
This project included four vertical single wall tanks designed for indoor storage of used bulk cooking oil (specific gravity 0.93) at a French fry fabricating facility, each with a 13,000-gallon capacity. The design addressed the challenges of a tight footprint, limited ceiling height, and integration with client-supplied process equipment. A custom connecting catwalk system bridged the tops of all four tanks, featuring onsite adjustability to account for placement variances. The result was a space-optimized, high-capacity storage solution tailored for a constrained indoor environment.
