Perched atop a steep hill with narrow, winding roads, the Talladega standpipe project faced harsh winter weather—freezing rain, snow flurries, and temps below 32°F. Despite these challenges, all equipment, including a crane and six material loads, reached the summit without major road closures. Through precise planning and teamwork, mobilization finished in three days. The completed standpipe now stands as a symbol of resilience, delivering clean water to Talladega County for generations.
