Rinconada Water Treatment Plant

Under-slab piping for a twelve-part filter building located in Los Gators, California.

The piping under this building consisted of two 66″ filter water lines with 36″ and 30″ outlets, one 48″ backwash line with 42″ outlets that included five piece 90
degree elbows that turn up for piping that is continued above the finished floor.

All three lines ran the full length of the building that measured 240 feet. Each line was encased with multiple concrete pours, leaving the vertical pipe ends exposed
for the continuation of the pipe inside of the filter building.

Material used in the fabrication was per AWWA C-200 and C-208 for the pipe and fittings. Flanges were per AWWA C-207 and cement mortar lined per AWWA
C-205. Field welded joints were provided per AWWA C-206.
