Kennedale Balancing Reservoir Yard Piping and Inlet and Outlet Modifications

This project consisted of several different size and wall thickness of pipe. Pipe sizes ranged from 123″ od to 48″ od. All the pipe was cement lined. There was very little coating on this project as a majority of the project was backfilled with flowable fill.

The pipeline line has several bends, elbows and outlets to divert from existing utilities and tie into the existing pipe already on the jobsite.
The centerpiece of the project was the 111″ x 111″ cross shown in the feature photograph. With 2 1/2″ thick crotch plates, that required stress relieving after fabrication, this piece was quite large and heavy. The cross had a total weight of over 70,000 pounds and had a width and height of over 14 feet.
