This project showcases excellence in coordination, technical execution and innovative problem solving, through the successful delivery of nine (9) large capacity, ULC S601 vertical fuel tanks for Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) storage across four urban sites in southern Ontario, Canada. Delivered under a tight schedule, the team expertly balanced the needs and expectations of the consultant and the end-user. Six on-site inspections per tank were conducted at critical milestones to uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Each tank incorporated a highly detailed design, including precisely located fittings for sensors, thermal gauges and sampling lines, all arranged to avoid interference with dual electrical heat-trace circuits and 3” of cellular glass insulation. The integration of complex heat-trace systems and insulation required rigorous planning between our engineering and fabrication teams. The addition of fully engineered spiral access structures required advanced coordination to ensure proper alignment, structural integrity, and safe long-term operability.

Logistics formed a critical component of the project’s success. Every tank required detailed evaluation of shipping dimensions and clearances, ensuring that all oversized components could move seamlessly through transport routes across the country. This attention to transport allowed the project to maintain its timeline despite multiple delivery locations.

The result is a high-quality product that demonstrates our team’s commitment to technical excellence, project coordination, and superior execution under challenging conditions. This project stands as a model of collaboration, innovation, and the exceptional quality that defines our work.
