500,000 Gallon Liquid Oxygen and 400,000 Gallon Liquid Nitrogen Tanks

This project consists of one (1) 500,000-gallon liquid oxygen, and one (1) 400,000-gallon liquid nitrogen storage tank constructed in Osceola, AR to support a steel mill expansion. The liquid oxygen tank stands 47′-4″ tall and is 66 feet in diameter while the liquid nitrogen tank is 42′-11″ high and 64 feet in diameter. The tanks incorporate a 201LN stainless steel inner tank paired with a carbon steel outer tank constructed in six shell courses each. The cellular glass block and perlite insulation systems ensure maximum thermal efficiency, operational reliability, and long-term performance in a demanding industrial environment.
