Description

This standard applies to the inspection of aboveground storage tanks fabricated tanks, field erected tanks, and portable containers as defined in this standard, as well as their containment systems. This standard applies to AST’s storing stable, flammable and combustible liquids at atmospheric pressure with a specific gravity less than approximately 1.0, and at operating temperatures between ambient temperature and 200 degrees F (93.3C).
