Next Week Is Infrastructure Week: #TimetoBuild.
The National Association of Manufacturers is calling on all of its members and allies to amplify the message of Infrastructure Week. Now in its fifth year and supported by more than 245 organizations, Infrastructure Week, May 15–19, brings together businesses, workers, elected leaders and everyday citizens to focus on America’s infrastructure crisis and send the message: #TimetoBuild. Registration is open, and approximately 60 events are now listed on the Infrastructure Week calendar, including an NAM-sponsored reception on Wednesday, May 17, in the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee room. NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons will help lead the opening event, which will also include an address by U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao. The NAM’s “Building to Win” policy agenda provides background on the infrastructure crisis and a roadmap on how to solve it. The NAM has created an online infrastructure advocacy toolkit for any company or individual wanting to urge our leaders to act.
