New and Updated Steel Water Pipe Resources Available

LAKE ZURICH, IL, October 7, 2020 – New and updated resources for the steel water pipe segment are now available through the Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA). The resources include a new article, the fifth in the M11 series. These series of articles were developed to point out important changes in the new edition of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) M11 and to provide background of why such revisions were made. The latest article in the M11 series can be found here. All of the articles published in the M11 series can be found on the pipe section page on the STI/SPFA website under the Resources heading.  

The Suggested Specification for Buried Steel Water Transmission Pipe has been updated and is now available for download. This guide, created and updated by SPFA members, gives guidance on the products, design, installation, and other topics, as they relate to buried steel water transmission pipe.
